Bring forward knowledge about the direct connections and interaction effects between food, environment and/ or climate and public health.

This call applies to research projects that promote new knowledge about how local and coastal fish stocks in the coastal zone and fjords along Norway and/or around Svalbard respond to changes in climate and/or the environment.

The funds will support research on the role and development of culture in the context of technological, environmental, and societal change.

The projects shall promote research collaboration between Norwegian research communities and relevant societal and industry stakeholders to increase the knowledge base on seabed mineral activities and the potential consequences that any mineral extraction may have for the marine environment.

Funding is available for new knowledge for a societal transition within nature's tolerance limits, while at the same time ensuring good societies in which to live, characterised by good welfare and quality of life.
